of practical experience. Collectively, our people have helped invent, build, and
deploy key enabling technologies and operating practices at leading companies such
as Amazon.com, Sears, CVS, Microsoft, aQuantive, IBM, AvenueA, IRI, ADVO,
Disney Interactive, Johnson & Johnson, PricewaterhouseCoopers, McKinsey & Company,
Mattel, and General Mills.

Thomas Opdycke
President and Chief Executive Officer
Tom Opdycke founded DS-IQ in 2003 and is responsible for the overall
vision, operations, and growth of the company. Mr. Opdycke is a seasoned executive
with over 20 years of experience growing businesses, bringing innovative products
to market, and building high-performance teams. He is a veteran consumer packaged
goods marketer, and a thought leader in the fields of Internet content distribution
and targeted in-store digital media technology.
Prior to founding DS-IQ , Mr. Opdycke was Director of Marketing at Microsoft, in
the Windows Division. He formed a highly skilled team to create ecosystem strategies
and programs for growing the $8 billion desktop operating system business and for
launching Windows XP. He also led the ongoing business and next-generation product
planning for ISA Server, which delivered breakthrough content distribution and Internet
security performance technologies.
Mr. Opdycke has held management, marketing, sales, and consulting roles at Johnson
& Johnson, Pace International, and several early stage ventures. He co-founded and
was President of Just ‘N Time, Inc., a consumer products company that emphasized
in-store marketing, and was successfully sold to a strategic acquirer. Mr. Opdycke
holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a BA from Duke
University, and has completed executive programs in Finance, Mergers, and Acquisitions
at The Wharton School.

William Wu
Executive Vice President, Engineering, and Chief Technology Officer
William Wu co-founded DS-IQ and is responsible for building the
company’s technical vision and architecting DS-IQ’s digital signage optimization
services. Beginning in 1997, Mr. Wu pioneered Microsoft's Windows Update services,
the world’s largest Internet software update service delivering more than 32 billion
updates annually. As the Windows Update Group Manager, he managed the day-to-day
operations and technical innovation that led to a prestigious Webby Award in Technical
Achievement given by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences in 2001.
A 14-year Microsoft veteran and Microsoft Achievement Award recipient, Mr. Wu held
development manager positions earlier in his career and was a senior leader on many
key projects, including Windows, LAN Manager, Multimedia, and Internet Finance Server
products.
Mr. Wu received an MS in Computer Science from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, New York, and
a BS in Computer and Information Science from the National Chiao-Tung University
in Taiwan.

Jeremy York, PhD
Principal Scientist
Dr. Jeremy York leads the design and development of DS-IQ’s analytics
capabilities. During his five years with Amazon.com, Dr. York led the Content Automation
team in the Personalization Group. He also built and led Amazon’s Website Experimentation
Software team. In these roles, he pioneered automated, scientific approaches to
evaluating and managing content, resulting in millions of dollars in increased sales.
He is listed as an inventor on seven Amazon.com patent applications.
Earlier in his career, Dr. York was a researcher at Battelle Pacific Northwest National
Laboratories and served as a visiting assistant professor in the Carnegie Mellon
University Statistics Department.
Dr. York earned his MS and PhD in Statistics at the University of Washington, where
his doctoral thesis was awarded the international Leonard J. Savage Award. He also
holds a BS in Statistics with highest honors from the University of Illinois.

Paul A. Dixon, PhD
Vice President, Product Strategy
Dr. Paul Dixon is responsible for DS-IQ’s product strategy.
Dr. Dixon comes to DS-IQ by way of online digital marketing, having spent the last
four years of his career at Atlas, a division of aQuantive, Inc., where he worked
extensively on sell-side revenue optimization systems for Internet publishers. In
his various roles at Atlas, he helped to develop Atlas’ Publisher product
into a platform capable of managing hundreds of billions of impressions a month
for clients distributed across the globe.
Prior to joining Atlas, Dr. Dixon spent two years at MSN, where his work included
defining and implementing the standards by which Microsoft’s online subscription
businesses are measured. His earlier career also includes co-founding a start-up
software company, and two years consulting on the design of proprietary bond futures
trading systems for Deutsche Bank.
Dr. Dixon earned his PhD in Biological Oceanography from the Scripps Institution
of Oceanography at the University of California San Diego in 1999. He has published
multiple technical articles, including two in the journal Science. He also
holds a BS in Oceanography from the University of Washington.

David DeBusk
Vice President, Client Solutions
David DeBusk joined DS-IQ in 2005 with a proven track record of
selling digital marketing solutions to leading consumer brands. As VP of Client
Solutions, Mr. DeBusk is responsible for growing the company’s base of retail clients
and advertisers.
Prior to joining DS-IQ, he led business development for Avenue A|Razorfish, the
largest interactive agency in the U.S. and a division of aQuantive, Inc. Mr. DeBusk
joined the company when it went public (NASDAQ: AQNT), and during his six years there,
contributed to an overall growth in revenue from less than $50 million to roughly
$300 million. As Director of Business Development, he was instrumental in securing
commitments from dozens of Fortune 500 clients, including Apple Computer, Countrywide
Home Loans, and J.C. Penney.
Mr. DeBusk thrives in a business-building environment, and brings more than 15 years
of entrepreneurial business experience to DS-IQ. He previously ran Business Development
for ENTROS, a Seattle-based interactive gaming company. Mr. DeBusk is a graduate
of Duke University with a BA in Public Policy Studies.

June Eva Peoples
Vice President, Partner Relations
June Eva Peoples, a member of the DS-IQ team since 2003, is responsible
for driving DS-IQ’s growth by building relationships with strategic partners, and
retail and advertising industry organizations. Prior to joining the company, as
Vice President of Marketing and Sales at RAF Technology, Ms. Peoples helped launch
a new generation of automated data capture software solutions. She guided RAF to
win a Best-in-Show award at the Association for Information and Imaging Management
international event and a nationwide rollout with the U.S. Postal Service. During
seven years as a biotechnology consultant to top-tier Japanese firms, Ms. Peoples
helped client Kirin Brewery close an exclusive license with Amgen for the $4 billion
blockbuster drug erythropoietin. Ms. Peoples also held research positions in Gastroenterology
at the University of Washington and Columbia University.
Ms. Peoples holds an MBA in International Marketing from the American Graduate School of
International Management and a BA in Zoology from the University of Washington.

William Barbieri
Vice President, Business Development and Strategy
William Barbieri oversees the design, deployment, and delivery
of DS-IQ services for retailer networks. In this role, Mr. Barbieri is focused on
achieving on-going success for DS-IQ’s retailer, advertiser, and agency clients
and partners, as well as developing DS-IQ’s go-to-market strategy. Previously, Mr.
Barbieri was Vice President of Planning and Corporate Development for ADVO, a $1.5
billion targeted-media company focused on retailers. Prior to ADVO, Mr. Barbieri
was a strategy consultant with IBM Business Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers,
where he advised companies in the retail, consumer packaged goods, technology, life
sciences, and business services industries on issues of business planning, marketing
strategy, and process improvement.
Mr. Barbieri holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and
a BA from Yale University.

Dan Frechtling
Vice President, Marketing
Dan Frechtling oversees marketing and growth strategies for DS-IQ.
Previously, Dan was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for
Knowledge Learning Corporation, where he introduced and optimized media mixes that
reduced customer acquisition costs by two-thirds. Prior to that, he was Vice
President of Strategy and Business Development and Director of Worldwide Marketing
for Mattel, working with some of the world’s largest retailers. At McKinsey &
Company he led multiple consumer engagements, including CPG trade spending
rationalization. At Stamps.com he helped launch the first server-based web postage
technology. He started his career at General Mills, where he managed brands such
as Apple Cinnamon Cheerios and Bisquick.
Mr. Frechtling earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BS in
Journalism/Economics from Northwestern University. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.
